WHAT WE BELIEVE:
We believe that all mankind is born a sinner and separated from God, Who is Holy:
For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God (Romans 3:23)
We believe that God’s penalty for sin is death:
For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Jesus Christ our Lord (Romans 6:23)
We believe that Jesus Christ paid the sin penalty completely when He died on the cross:
But God demonstrated His own love toward us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us (Romans 5:8)
We believe that salvation is available to all and is received by grace through faith alone in Christ alone:
For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life (John 3:16)
We believe that good works cannot earn or keep salvation, for it is a free gift from God given to all who simply believe in Jesus Christ alone:
For by grace are you saved though faith: and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast (Ephesians 2:8-9)
We believe that those who trust Jesus Christ as Savior should seek to honor Him in all they do:
Whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God (1 Corinthians 10:31)
Dear Parent,
Greetings! Your children (ages 4 thru 12th grade) are personally invited to attend our Vacation Bible School (VBS) sponsored by Word of Grace Bible Church. Our caring staff desires to teach your children the precious truths of God’s Word. Our objective is to introduce children to Jesus Christ, the Savior. Children who have already trusted Christ as their Savior are taught God’s Word in a clear and practical manner.
VBS is filled with many enjoyable activities for children including songs, stories, games, and crafts for the younger ones.
The teaching at VBS comes from the Bible. The lessons emphasize God’s plan of salvation which offers eternal life as a free gift of God’s grace for any and all who put their trust in Jesus Christ and His finished work on the cross for all of our sins.
