SUNDAY SCHOOL MINISTRIES
Sunday
School
Though we recognize that the primary responsibility for teaching
children about the Lord belongs to parents (Deuteronomy 6:6-7; Ephesians
6:4), the ministry of the local church can also assist parents toward
this end. Word
of Grace Bible Church is privileged to make available 2 Sunday School
classes as a means of leading children to faith in Jesus Christ
for their salvation and strengthening their faith in God and His
Word (2 Timothy 3:15-17). Each
Sunday morning, children ages 3-5 and 6-11meet for Sunday School
class from approximately 10:00-11:00am. Children sit with their
parents through the initial portion of the service for singing,
prayer, and announcements, and then they are dismissed to their
classes with their teachers & helpers when the pastor begins
teaching the adults. Also, each summer we have a one week Vacation
Bible School. Parents, if you have questions about our Sunday School,
you may write to us at:
or call (414) 321-8880.
Nursery
A Nursery is provided for both the Sunday morning and Wednesday
evening services, as well as for occasional, special events such
as Bible Conferences. The
Word of Grace Bible Church views its nursery as a ministry designed
to accomplish several purposes. First, it provides safety and care
for the physical needs of all children under 3 years old. Secondly,
our nursery staff is able to minister in a very simple
way to the spiritual needs of toddlers by providing structured time
for toddlers with songs, stories, snack-time, and play time. Finally,
the nursery ministry allows parents to relax and concentrate on
the teaching of God's Word during the main services. Parents, if
you have questions about our Nursery, you may write to us at:
or call (414) 321-8880.
Church Fellowship & Ministry Events
Word of Grace Bible Church also provides other formal opportunities
for church fellowship and ministry which varies from month to month.
When such activities are scheduled, they will be stated during the
Sunday morning announcements and/or posted on the church calendar.
